Whether electronic vehicle keeps charging while driving a car or bike? If it is not, then why is it not and then how is it?

An electronic vehicle is not a car or a bike. Actually it is electric. So the revised question happened.

Does electric vehicle keep charging while driving a car or bike? If it is not, then why is it not and then how is it?

answer

  • No.

Electric vehicles do not charge while moving a car or bike.

Why doesn't it happen?

Because you have to spend more energy (in the form of electricity) than the amount of energy charged in the battery. Whenever the form of energy changes - the energy is depleted.

Let's understand this with an example, suppose

  1. 100 units of electricity was generated from your car's battery
  2. Out of that, 80 units were spent in running the car and 20 units were spent on charging the battery. But the change in the form of energy 1 causes its degradation, so only 15 units out of 20 will be able to be actually used in battery charging, the remaining 5 minutes wasted.
  3. Therefore, it is better that you take only 80 units from the battery which is necessary to run the car.

Regenerative braking is used in some modern cars, that is, when you hit the brake, the energy due to the speed of the car is used to charge the battery. This technology is being used in rail engines for a long time and now when electric vehicles come on the road, this technology of rail is also being used in electric road vehicles, but keep in mind that it happens at the time of braking.

So, the answer is to go for purchasing an electric vehicle, so be sure to find out whether it has regenerative braking or if it is, it can save around 10% of the power consumption in the vehicle .
